Sakimaru

Sakimaru Takohiki is a variant of Yanagiba and Takohiki, and is used for much the same purpose. These Japanese knives are easily identified by their blade tips, which resemble those of a Katana. Their blades have a straight spine similar to Takohiki and a slightly curved edge like the Yanagiba, which gives a knife that looks like a combination of the two.
